Job Opening For Design/Senior Design Engineer - Solid Edge

Work Location: Bengaluru

Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or a Diploma in Tool & Die making (NTTF/GTTC)

Domain Experience:

  • 3-5 years of technical experience in automotive projects.
  • Good understanding of technical, engineering drawings standards.
  • Strong in using multiple CAD software; work experience in the same is an added advantage.

 

Software Experience:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in 3D modeling/sheet metal/weldments/casting and Manufacturing drawing using Solid Edge.
  • Working knowledge of Solid Works is an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge in using PLM software is an advantage.
  • Excellent in client communications & presentations using MS Teams, GoToMeeting, Skype, etc.

 

Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer works on design & development of automotive related projects. They should have experience in 3D modeling/sheet metal/weldments/manufacturing drawings/casting.

  • Working knowledge of the automotive domain.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Good knowledge of modelling methodology and best practices using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Ability to develop mechanical concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Good in teamwork and communication.
  • Skilled at problem-solving, creativity, and presentation.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, work independently & co-ordinate with the team.

Good knowledge of GD&T is an added advantage.
