Roles & responsibilities:

Emails/ Skype messages received from client file managers to be replied to within a time frame of 15 min.
Run a daily cutoff report from the client logistic system and send emails to the shipper of record and file manager to push for docs to submit.
Make sure all docs forwarded by the USA clients contain the message for EXPORT DOCS for processing the file.
Supply PRE-ALERTS to that agent for further processing while on the carriage.
Check the internal notes given in the booking.
Enter all the documents which are received between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm (EST) on the same day whereas docs received after 4:30 pm are to be processed on the next working day on a priority basis.
Submission of AES and SI to the carrier in a timely manner
Verifying all proof received from carrier is correct per DUMMY or correction prior to ETD to avoid correction fees.
Submitting SI to the carrier prior to doc cut even if there is no container number as DUMMY then correcting it with SI, and re-submit to the carrier.
Receiving final approval from the customer if BL ok or not and if corrections are needed later, a fee to be charged

Manage daily email replies and comments either to customer direct or client file managers.
