Experience preferred in US projects, B.E (Civil), M.E (Any Specialization)

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform the Concrete designs (foundations, pile caps, piers, grade beams, slabs on grades, elevated slabs, etc.)
  • Perform the Steel designs (beams, columns, lateral force-resisting system, etc.)
  • Work on Seismic Design Structures
  • Analysis and design of FPSO Topsides Including Manifold Rack Modules includes Pancake, Main Structures using SESAM GENIE, XTRACT with the working knowledge of IBC 2015, ACI 318, AISC 15th edition, and ASCE.
  • Analysis and design of Mechanical Handling runway beams in MATHCAD.
  • Design of base plate, connections, lifting lug, and miscellaneous structures using excel.
  • Design of miscellaneous structures like Pad eyes and equipment supports in MATHCAD.
  • Preparation of design reports, design basis, review of structural drawings, etc.
  • Analysis and designs of connections and base plate in Excel.
  • Analysis and design of Gantry Girder.
  • Analysis and Design of Tank Foundations like Ring beam foundation, crushed stone foundation, and pile foundations.
  • Analysis and Design of sleepers, block foundation, and Dyke wall.
  • Preparation of proposals and man-hours budgets preparation of MTO for tendering purposes.
  • Design of RC slabs, beams, columns, PT slabs, and retaining walls.
  • Design of isolated footings, pile cap, mat foundation.
  • Analysis and design of the shear wall.
  • Implementation of detailed drawings in AutoCAD.
  • Coordination with Clients and Contractors during the project phase.
  • Preparation of technical specifications, design basis, and qualification list documents.
  • Development of macro in excel for analysis and design calculations of structures.
  • Analysis and design of GTG building using SACS.
  • Design of connections.
  • Calculation of non-generated dead loads, seismic loads, and wind loads.
  • Analysis and design of Blast Wall (Biggs method) using excel.
  • Design of Baseplate, connections, lifting lug, and miscellaneous structures using excel.
  • Preparation of detailed calculation report.

Primary Skill:

  • Knowledge of residential, educational, infrastructure, industrial, oil & gas, bridges, substations, railway platforms, and retaining structures.
  • Concept to the detailed design stage.
  • Seismic and wind load analysis.
  • Design of structures based on Indian, British, and American Standards.
  • Hands-on reinforced concrete and steel structures.
  • Provide design input to CAD and coordinate with CAD staff for preparation of drawings.
  • Preparation of man-hour estimation, technical specification, and tender documents.
  • Multidisciplinary team coordination.
  • Hands-on experience on AutoCAD & Revit becomes mandatory.

Secondary Skill:

  • Work experience with Risa is optional.
  • Microsoft Project & Mathcad is optional
