Job Opening For Design/Senior Design Engineer - Plumbing

Role: Plumbing design, Modelling, Detailing and Documentation

Qualification: B. Tech/M. Tech (Mechanical)

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience working on CAD and BIM platforms
• 2+ years of experience working as a Sr. Design Engineer (Plumbing)

Duties:

Design, Modelling, Detailing and Documentation:

• Design of Plumbing systems (2D & 3D).
• Construction documentation (BIM).
• Detailed design (BIM).
• Makes calculations using engineering formulas and skills for design, such as waste, vent, water, natural gas, storm and medical gas loads and equipment sizing.
• Research design options and document findings for Project Lead.
• Calculate space requirements for proper equipment layout.
• Design room layouts.
• Lay out portions of piping systems based on schematic layout by Project Lead.

QC:

• Follow project QC checklist: Plumbing
• Implement QC standards across the assigned projects: Plumbing
• Maintain quality on all deliverables in all the assigned projects/tasks: Plumbing

Client Coordination:

• Daily/weekly status calls with client to update the task status along with the Project Lead.
• Capture and analyze the client requirements: Plumbing
• Deliver the tasks to clients as per the schedule with the supervision of the Project Lead.

Responsibilities:

• This role will have no direct reporting associates.
• Responsible for overall performance of Plumbing tasks (as assigned by the Project Lead).
• Responsible for quality of the deliverables to the clients (on the assigned plumbing tasks).
• Delivery of CAD and BIM projects as per client’s expectations.
• Working on Modeling, Detailing, Documentation, Design and Calculation of Plumbing systems (must).

Skillset:

Technical

• Revit MEP
• AutoCAD
• BIM360
• Navisworks

Domain

• Knowledge of USA Plumbing standards.
• Working knowledge of USA projects (must).
• Proficient ideas on Plumbing systems.
• Design knowledge of Plumbing systems is a must.

Work experience on Commercial Buildings & Residential Buildings, Sports facilities/Stadium/Sports Buildings/Office Buildings/Hospital Buildings/Mixed-use Building projects.
