Role

Designation: AI & ML Lead

Work Experience: 9+ years overall experience

Work Location: Chennai, Salem, Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the design and implementation of AI/ML systems leveraging Gen AI, LLMs, NLP, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning.
- Define and drive the AI roadmap, aligning it with business goals and technological advancements.

LLM & GenAI Development
- Fine-tuning and deploying Large Language Models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, Claude).
- Design and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using LlamaIndex, LangChain, and LangGraph.
- Develop custom prompt engineering strategies to enhance model output relevance and accuracy.
- Build agentic AI systems using LangGraph, managing memory, tool use, and multi-step reasoning workflows.

Model Development & MLOps
- Build, train, and deploy ML/DL models using modern frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Implement scalable and automated ML pipelines (CI/CD for ML) in collaboration with the DevOps team.
- Champion MLOps best practices (versioning, reproducibility, monitoring, and governance).

Infrastructure & APIs
- Design and expose AI services via robust and scalable APIs using FastAPI.
- Optimize data pipelines and model inference infrastructure for low latency and high throughput.

Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to integrate AI capabilities into real-world applications.
- Mentor and grow a team of AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and research scientists.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in AI/ML.
Proven expertise in:
- Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and RAG pipelines
- Computer Vision and Deep Learning
- Prompt Engineering and LLM Fine-tuning
- LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex
- Python, with strong hands-on experience using FastAPI and other backend tools.
Solid understanding of Agentic AI and orchestration frameworks.
Strong knowledge of ML lifecycle, including data engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring (MLOps).
Experience with modern cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and GPU-based infrastructure.
Track record of shipping ML/AI solutions into production at scale.
