Qualification

Design and analyze pipeline systems for transportation of fluids (oil, gas, water).
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and stress analysis for pipeline designs.
Oversee pipeline construction and maintenance projects.
Implement pipeline integrity management strategies and ensure compliance with safety standards..
Manage pipeline operations and ensure the system's long-term functionality and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project execution and risk mitigation.
Good working knowledge in tools such as AutoPIPE (Bentley Systems) , CAESAR II (Intergraph) , PIPENET (Aveva), OLGA (Schlumberger) , ArcGIS (Esri).

Role

Location: Dubai, UAE.
Experience: 15+ years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering.
Relocation Requirement: The selected candidate will be expected to relocate to Dubai and work onsite for a minimum of 2-3 years after joining the role.

Design and analyze pipeline systems for the transportation of fluids (oil, gas, water) to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and stress analysis for pipeline designs to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
Oversee pipeline construction and maintenance projects to ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Implement pipeline integrity management strategies to ensure the long-term functionality and reliability of the pipeline system.
Manage pipeline operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and repairs, to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure effective project execution and risk mitigation.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Proficiency in pipeline design and analysis software, including:
- AutoPIPE (Bentley Systems)
- CAESAR II (Intergraph)
- PIPENET (Aveva)
- OLGA (Schlumberger)
Experience with geographic information systems (GIS), including:
- ArcGIS (Esri)
Knowledge of pipeline integrity management principles and practices.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including:
- ASME B31.4 and B31.8
- API 1104 and 1169
